Knowledge Vs. Interpretation

The evolution of systems and ways for communication, the experimentation and application of interdisciplinary codes,
the development of computer science and interactive nets, determined a deep transformation in the forms of artistic creation and in general in many criterias that guide the science and the culture.
The attention of ArteScienza is focused on the margin that delimits and defines the territories of the scientific and the artistic thoughts.
It’s often an important boundary with overlapping ideas and methods, where comparisons and correlations between research themes and used technologies are possible,
and purposes and representation observing a real phenomena remain distinguished, recognizable and unchanged.
ArteScienza is proposed to reveal and rise up those coinciding ideas and methods between the two territories,
since it’s possible to derive a different way to make use of the most advanced contemporary artworks and think to new criterias for science observing the real world.
The achieved results and experience from last editions, encouraged us in satisfying also aspects of spread and diffusion that may interest and reach an extended audience,
without losing adhesion from the contents. In this way the structure of ArteScienza is changed. It's not anymore an appointment developed every two years in the arc of a month,
but it's a project that lives in a period of two years with increasing density, by means of initiatives with various spectacular and deepening degrees.
The activities take place in various locations of Rome (theaters, concert halls but also museums, galleries, historic parks, universities) and other significant places like international culture and research institutes.
